The granite and marble slab hydraulic splitting machine is a highly efficient device specifically designed to precisely split natural stone slabs, such as marble and granite, into specified sizes or paving stones. It relies on a hydraulic system to provide a stable and powerful splitting force, replacing traditional manual hammering or drop-hammer equipment. Compared to conventional methods, this machine offers significant advantages in terms of production efficiency, splitting accuracy, and finished product yield, making it especially suitable for mass production of curb stones, paving stones, landscape stones, and irregular blocks.
Working Principle
The hydraulic station provides high-pressure oil to drive the piston in the hydraulic cylinder, causing the piston to move back and forth. The piston then transfers the immense pressure to the stone's force surface through a splitting plate or wedge.
When the pressure exceeds the tensile strength of granite or marble, cracks and fractures occur along pre-set cutting lines or positioning devices, allowing for controlled, low-noise, non-explosive splitting.
Main Components and Functions
Hydraulic Cylinder: The core execution element that converts hydraulic energy into linear thrust, directly driving the splitting plate or wedge to apply pressure to the stone.
Hydraulic Station (Oil Pump and Oil Tank): Provides a stable, high-pressure oil source, ensuring the continuous output of splitting force.
Splitting Plate / Splitting Knife Frame: The working part that contacts the stone directly, arranging knives based on the slab's dimensions and evenly transferring pressure to the predetermined splitting line.
Frame and Workbench: Supports the slab and ensures accurate positioning, maintaining the stability and consistency of the splitting line's position and size.
Control Panel: Used to set working pressure, splitting stroke, working mode (automatic/manual), emergency stop, etc., ensuring safe and precise operation control.
Customization and Adjustment Options
Size and Opening Width Customization: The workbench size, splitting opening width, and tool arrangement can be customized based on the length, width, and thickness of the slabs.
Splitting Force and Stroke Adjustment: The hydraulic system pressure and hydraulic cylinder stroke can be adjusted to suit various hardness and thickness levels of granite and marble.
Tool Layout Customization: The number and spacing of knives can be adjusted based on the desired product specifications (e.g., strip tiles, blocks, curbstones), allowing for multi-split in a single pass.
Automation Options: Optional features include automatic loading/unloading devices, conveyor belts, or simple PLC program control to enhance continuous production capacity and splitting precision, meeting the needs of medium-to-high-volume processing lines.
